Cryogenics, LNG / LIN / LOX / LAR/ CO2
In the rapidly growing market for liquid gases, there is an increasing need for transport storage capacity in the form of intermodal tank containers. Liquid gases refer, in particular, to liquid natural gas (LNG), liquid oxygen (LOX), liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid argon (LAR), and CO2.
All of these gases are experiencing a significant market growth. And, as an alternative fuel for ships and trucks – plus the fact that it is considered to be the most environmentally friendly fuel – LNG is soaring in particular.
The supply of LNG and other liquid gases requires flexible storage, which can be achieved by operational tank container leasing. In view of the significant investment involved in, for example, LNG installations – of which stationary tanks are responsible for the majority of this – the need increases when it comes to turning capital expenditure into operational expenditure by leasing storage through intermodal tank containers.
The engineering of cryogenic tank containers for liquid gases is a complex task, given the applicable rules and regulations, and high-quality requirements during a tank’s lifetime. As with all of Trifleet’s tank containers, the company’s new cryogenic containers for liquid gases meet the highest of standards.
Trifleet offers a fleet of cryogenic tank containers for LNG, LOX, LIN, LAR and CO2, as well as excellent related services, such as cryogenic pumps, hoses, installation systems and technical advice. The fleet includes 40ft and 20ft tank containers.
We at Trifleet believe that both our tank containers and our staff are second to none. We offer a complete range of global services to the industry, ranging from advising to leasing, and from fleet management to maintenance and repairs.
We are delighted to be able to share this excellence with you.
We continuously inform, educate and train our Maintenance & Repair team. For example, for our cryogenics tank containers our team is of course certified to work with cryogenic tank containers for liquid gases. Furthermore, we train our people to ensure they are always at the forefront of cryogenics developments and master all requirements.
